Barbecue, Beer and Bourbon

Pig Out Party

JCT Kitchen & Bar’s Ford Fry and  E.J. Hodgkinson host the tailgate-style kickoff to the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival with some of the South’s best barbecue chefs, including: Chris Hall, Eli Kirshtein, Todd Mussman, Suzanne Vizethann, Greg Baker, Brandon McGlamery, Levon Wallace, Derek Emerson, Mary Jennifer Russell, Gary Crunkleton, Kelly English, and Chris Sheperd. Tickets $65 (included in 3-Day  and Connoisseur 3-Day passes) here:

Fox Bros. Texas dinner

The newly renovated Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q hosts Texas Monthly barbecue editor Daniel Vaughn for a Texas-style dinner in celebration of Vaughn’s new book, “The Prophets of Smoked Meat.” Tickets $75, including a copy of the book and an open bar, here:

Belle Meade Dinner

Chef Robert Phalen of One Eared Stag hosts Charlie Nelson of Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery for a five-course dinner with cocktail pairings featuring Belle Meade Bourbon. Nelson will be visiting from Nashville as a presenter for the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival. Tickets $100, including  pairings, tax, and gratuity, here:
