Chick-a-Biddy Set To Open July 1


Less than a year after they opened Bantam + Biddy in Ansley Mall, chefs Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere are set to open Chick-a-Biddy in Atlantic Station on July 1.

The duo’s second restaurant featuring regional, all-natural poultry will take over the space once occupied by The Grape. The Johnson Studio, the firm that designed Bantam + Biddy, is handling the build-out.

Executive Chef Scott Weaver worked with Doty and Gummere to create a lunch and dinner menu with a variety of entrées, starters, salads sandwiches and sides.

A “meat-and-two” option with two sides will let guests choose their portion size and preparation style, including a quarter or half chicken either wood-grilled with piri piri or homemade red pepper sauce or fried with hot Tabasco or mild sauce.

Beverages will range from fresh-pressed juices and smoothies, to beer, wine and signature cocktails.
